My wife Sabrina and I have been Lions for 7 years. We originally got involved to serve and learn more about our community as we both were new to Essex Junction and have been in and around service organizations our entire lives.
My journey to Lions started in the Scouts where I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2012 and 3 Palms in 2013. My project was restoring a water system at a historical Grange Hall in my hometown where my Scout Troop still meets to this day. At the time of my project the Grange Hall had been without water for over a decade, the water system allowed them to begin renting the hall again.
Growing up in New Hampshire I always loved the outdoors and scouting brought me to Vermont State University and Vermont to pursue a degree in Adventure Leadership. This program was ideal, focusing on expedition planning, ethical decision-making, and how to lead and motivate teams, skills I use constantly in my work with the Lions. During my time at there I also added on an associates in Digital Media.
My wife Sabrina and I met in 2016 and bonded over our shared love for photography and nature. When we married in 2021 we opted to elope on the beautiful Kukio beach In Kailua-Kona Hawaii. 2026 marks Sabrina and I being together for 10 years and I genuinely cant think of a better partner to go though life and Lions together with. For us, being a Lion is not just a title; it is a lifestyle of active engagement with the people who call Vermont home.
In 2020, we rescued our 4 legged son Togo, an adorable Husky-Golden Retriever mix. While he hasn't officially joined a committee, we affectionately consider him our "puppy in service," providing emotional support and endless entertainment!
Joining the Lions Club is the natural evolution of a lifetime devoted to service. Whether it was restoring a Grange Hall in my youth, studying Adventure Leadership in college, or serving alongside my wife in Essex Junction today, the core mission remains the same: identify a need and mobilize a team to meet it. We are incredibly proud to wear the Lions pin, representing not just our commitment to local action, but our shared belief that true leadership is found in serving those around us. We look forward to many more years of service and community building here in Vermont.
District 45, I cant wait to soar to new heights together!
